 Relax to cool jazz against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean as the Chicken Bone Beach 10th annual Jazz on the Beach Concert Series lights up Kennedy Plaza on the Atlantic City Boardwalk. The free weekly concerts take place Thursdays in July and August from 7-10 p.m.
The Chicken Bone Beach Historical Foundation Inc. and the Atlantic City Free Public Library present this series, which features some of the most renowned artists as headliners.

The Atlantic City Free Public Library held its Summer Reading Program launch party Tuesday, June 30, in the Main Library meeting room. Youths who signed up for the Summer Reading Program at the party received a free book. The children's Summer Reading Program theme is "Be Creative" and it's "Express Yourself" for teens.  There was no shortage of great performances gracing the Kennedy Plaza stage last summer - and one of the most exciting series of the season will return again this year.
The Atlantic City Free Library and City of Atlantic City will once again co-sponsor International Nights at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays at Kennedy Plaza, which is located on the Boardwalk between Mississippi and Georgia avenues.

The Atlantic City Free Public Library and City of Atlantic City will present Fridays in the Plaza, a free outdoor concert series featuring well-known local performers, on Friday afternoons beginning July 10.
The concerts will be held from 12 to 2 p.m. at Police and Firemen's Plaza, which is located between the Main Library and City Hall.
